| Hindu Aid is looking for volunteers from professional
communities to help and assist us in various projects. If
you have expertise in any are or willing to spend some time
volunteering for our projects that deliver lasting benefits
in the global effort to reduce poverty and inequalities, please
contact us immediately. We are looking for volunteers who
can join the following departments or projects of Hindu Aid:
- Media and Public Relations: volunteers
with any of the following experience: dealing with the media,
writing, editing, drafting press-releases or organising
media events.
- Web Content Editor: volunteers who can
write and edit for our website or upload content and maintain
it to keep it up-to-date and relevant.
- Fund raising professionals: we urgently
need a volunteer administrator for our fund-raising team
to envision, design and execute a fund-raising plan
- Researchers: we need professionals with
an academic or community background to meet representatives
of Hindu temples and community centres to conduct one-to-one
meetings and understand capacity issues in education, development
and funding.
- Event organisers: we need volunteers
to arrange training seminars, supervise Hindu Aid stalls
in large Hindu festivals
- General Office Administration: we need
general administrators in the office for mail-outs, data
entry and other tasks
- Graphic artists and design and layout professionals:
we urgently require persons who can design and layout our
publications like newsletters, brochures and publications.
